Total length of pendants: 6 cm
Pendants consisting of a closed bronze brass ring and a large round bronze brass sequin on which is superimposed a small black sheet in the inner tube of a recycled tractor.
Several handmade charms are suspended from the ring:
- a turquoise nylon tassel surmounted by a bronze brass cap (length: 2.5 cm).
- an assembly of pearls in green and yellow rockeries and a turquoise pearl in Howlite.
- an assembly of two green and yellow rock beads, a Turkish eye glass bead (*) and a red church wood seed.
Fasteners: hooks made of brass in bronze color.
(*) Turkish eye or Nazar Boncuk: amulet in the shape of an eye is supposed to protect against the evil eye, its name comes from Nazar "evil eye, bad look" and Boncuk for "pearl". And eye is meant to capture the evil eye, that of the envious and jealous in order to protect you from their negative energies. According to Anatolian ancestral belief, the Nazar Boncuk, blue glass bead is a symbolic representation intended to thwart the misfortunes that can spread the evil eye. The glass paste eye is there to act as a lure and attract these bad looks. In popular belief, it is said that for a Nazar to be effective, it must be bought by a person full of good intentions.
