Total length of pendants: 7 cm
Pendants consisting of a rectangle cut from a recycled tractor inner tube + another smaller rectangle made with cardboard and a sheet of a Geo recycled: on the cardboard sequins we can see Buddhist monks in the Tromtar valley, it was an article on the monastery Achuk Rinpoche, the original photo is by Frédéric Lemalet. The sequins are made with glue varnish for a good hold, rigidity. However BATHING AND SHOWER are to be avoided with earrings!!!!!
Several handmade charms are suspended from the rectangle:
- a burgundy nylon tassel tassel (close to less Buddhist clothes) surmounted by a bronze brass cap (length: 2.5 cm).
- a small charm in the shape of a coin with Asian inscriptions (diameter 1cm)
- a large Shiva seed (**) like those sometimes used on Buddhist malas
** Shiva's seed is contained in an intense blue globular berry when ripe. In Sri Lanka the fleshy fruit (the drupe). Hindu legend tells that during one of his meditations Shiva, the lucky deity, had a vision of the wishes and sufferings of the world that made him cry. A tear fell to the ground and gave birth to a tree whose seeds are also called Shiva tears.**
Fasteners: hooks made of brass in bronze color.
* REGULATIONS: All brass parts comply with the regulations in force, they are guaranteed lead-free, nickel-free and cadmium-free. *
** Buckles FOR ALL EARS: In case of allergy, I can change the fastener to a stainless steel one. If you only support gold, let me know, I will change the brass hook for one in 14 carat gold (+ 2 euros). If you don't have pierced ears, I change the hook to a brass clip! **
